Do you provide food?
Yes. For breakfast there is a choice of cereal or toast. Lunch is provided by the school and there is a choice of hot or cold meals. A snack is provided in the afternoon: the children can choose from healthy options such as cereal bars, yogurts, cheese and biscuits, bagels, pitta etc. There is also unlimited fruit, crudities and dips. Drink options are milk or water.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. There is a section on the registration form to complete. If a child has an allergy we ask the school to provide food which is suitable. We also have a list of children with allergies displayed in the Kidzone kitchen for all Kidzone staff to check.
What activities do you provide?
In the holiday club we have one art/activity/game in the morning and afternoon of each day. The children are asked if they would like to join in or they can continue free play. In holiday club we have themes and topics and base the activities around them.
Do you separate the children by age?
No. Due to each room having a different purpose the children find their own natural balance of where they want to be such as younger children in the role play and construction room and the older children in the computer suite and games room.
How do I register a child?
If you wish your child to attend Kidzone, please download the Registration form and Parent Contract found on the Useful Documents page, complete and return via email or post.

How do I pay my fees?
If your child attends Bolton School an invoice will be sent stating the sessions attended at the end of the month. Each invoice must be paid within 10 days from the document date. Fees for non-Bolton School pupils must be paid in advance. Payment can be made by cash, childcare vouchers, cheques, BACS and Debit/credit card. What happens if I collect my child after 6pm?
Late collection will attract a penalty of £20.00 for each 15 minutes or part thereof when collected after the stipulated time. We regret that once a child has been collected late on three occasions it will be necessary to refuse the future use of our services.
What if I cancel a place?
We operate a cancellation policy. It states that cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance, failure to do so will incur payment in full. Fees will not be waived through absence or sickness.
How many children are you allowed in the building?
We are registered to receive 80 children at one time.
Have you been inspected?
Yes. Our last inspection was undertaken by Ofsted in Feb 2020. We achieved ‘Met’ at our last inspection. The Ofsted report is accessible on our useful documents page.
What ratio do you work to?
One member of staff to every eight children (1:8).
